SECUR-EU — Enhancing Security of European SMEs
SECUR-EU is an EU-funded project focused on strengthening the cybersecurity posture of Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) and supporting resilience in critical infrastructures. The project started on 1 December 2023 and brings together 16 consortium partners across Europe.
Mission
SECUR-EU aims to:
- Foster a shared cybersecurity awareness culture for SMEs
- Enhance and promote open-source security solutions suitable for SME adoption
- Disseminate ethical hacking / white-hat testing practices through the HackOlympics initiative
- Advance Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI) using state-of-the-art technologies, including AI
Key activities
- Stakeholder Group: SMEs are invited to participate and provide input during implementation.
- Training Sessions: Dedicated trainings on cybersecurity awareness and solutions for SMEs.
- HackOlympics: Testing and validation of SECUR-EU outcomes by ethical hackers in controlled environments.
